Cookie Policy

Last updated: 24 June 2026

This page explains the cookies our site uses, what each does, and how to switch them off if you'd rather. Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser to remember things between visits. We keep ours to a minimum, you can use the entire site with cookies disabled, you'll just lose some analytics and affiliate tracking that mostly benefit us, not you. For the wider picture on your data, see our privacy policy.

The cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These keep the site working: remembering your cookie choice, basic security, load balancing. They don't track you across other sites and can't be switched off without breaking core functions. They expire when you close your browser or shortly after.

Analytics

We use analytics cookies to understand which reviews get read and where people drop off, in aggregate. Typical examples are Google Analytics cookies such as _ga (lasts up to two years) and _gid (lasts 24 hours). They tell us how the site is used, not who you are. Blocking these has no effect on your experience.

Affiliate tracking

When you click through to a casino, the operator's affiliate network may set a cookie so it can credit the referral to us. This holds a technical click ID only, not your name or email, and typically expires after 30 to 90 days. It's how the site is funded, as explained in our affiliate disclosure.

How to control cookies

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. In Chrome it's Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies; in Firefox, Settings → Privacy & Security; in Safari, Settings → Privacy; in Edge, Settings → Cookies and site permissions. On mobile, the same controls live in your browser's privacy settings. Blocking all cookies won't lock you out of any content here.

If you disable cookies

The whole site still works. You'll lose nothing as a reader, we'll just have less analytics data, and an affiliate referral might not be tracked. That trade-off is entirely yours to make.
